Technique:
For the eyes:
1. Prime the eye lid with Nude Frost and Carbon. First, apply Nude Frost with a shader brush (firm flat brush) from crease up to brow. Smooth into skin with finger. Next, apply Carbon with a smaller shader brush along upper lash line and smooth upwards. Blend Nude Frost and Carbon at the crease. The look will be messy. This is just the canvas for the shadows. The cream shadows should be in a thin layer, too thick will cause creasing.
2. Pat Umbra on the lid over Carbon with a flat brush. Blend slightly into crease. (Umbra is very pigmented, use very small amount and add more if needed)
3. Next, pat Emerald onto inner 1/2 of lid with a shader brush. Pat Amethyst on outer 1/2 and blend at seams by wiping down brush then pulling one color into the other.
4. With a fluffy blending brush, pick up a tiny amount of Sass. Apply at crease in a 'windshield wiper' motion. Start with minimal pigment and layer to get the desired intensity. Blend slightly upward toward brow.
5. Apply Ivory to brow bone as highlight and blend down into Sass to soften any edges.
6. Line lower lash line with a black pencil liner. Smudge Amethyst on lower outer 1/2 of lash line and Emerald on inner 1/2, blending where they meet.
7. Line upper lash line with black liner.
8. Brows were filled in with High Brow using a stiff angled brush.
9. Curl Lashes and Apply two coats of your favorite mascara
For the face:
1. Wipe away any eyeshadow fallout.
2. Apply Silky Primer powder to entire face, a foundation brush was used. Kabuki, powder brush, buffer brush or a flocked sponge may also be used.
3. Dark circles were minimized with Peach correcting powder applied with a fluffy blending brush and then patted into skin with finger.
4. Foundation was applied using a flocked sponge. Kabuki, powder brush, buffer brush, or a foundation brush may also be used.
5. Dewy was buffed into the skin using a buffing brush and also applied to lips then topped with clear gloss.
6. The look was finished with a sheer dusting of Matte Finishing Veil using a large, fluffy powder brush.
